OROVILLE — A strike team of five engines has left Butte County, headed for a wildland fire that broke out near Santa Barbara Thursday night and has already destroyed at least 100 homes.

A Sacramento Superior Court judge has ordered the California Department of Fish and Game into talks with Pacific Rivers Council and the Center for Biological Diversity to develop interim measures to limit the impacts of fish stocking.
