In addition to reporting, I was trained by the chief
photographers at The Daily Mining Gazette to use a Nikon CoolPix
950. My photography has been featured on the Gazette's front page
dozens of times.
While most of my photos involved shooting subjects
at the meetings and events I covered, I also shot feature photos
for the Gazette's special sections, including the paper's annual
magazine. On occasion, I would also shoot breaking news events.
