Good bye, sweet expanded cable

Tomorrow, I'm downgrading my cable service to its basic service and fastest cable Internet. I used to have everything (all the movie stations, expanded stations and digital) for a "low, low price."

I guess I'm kinda moping about it -- I only watch a handful of shows (up to a dozen inconsistently) beyond the basic tier. With the new plan, I'll save about $60/mo.

The basic tier of 29 channels isn't that bad (although there's a dozen filler stations I'll never watch). I guess I feel bad about the options I'm missing and the good cable shows I won't get to see.

Am I making too much of a to do?
